Asset Allocation Funds

We offer two kinds of asset allocation funds. The Prudential Investments Asset Allocation Funds include a mix of Prudential Investments stock and bond mutual funds in three different portfolios according to different levels of risk—Conservative, Moderate, and Growth. The Prudential Asset Allocation Fund invests in a dynamic mix of stocks and bonds to seek equity market returns but with lower risk than an all-equity portfolio.

Equity Funds
Equities, also called stocks, provide the growth potential most investors need to reach their goals. To help reduce risk, most investment plans generally include different types of stock funds, such as growth funds, small-cap funds, international funds, and value funds. Keep in mind that stocks and stock mutual funds are subject to potentially volatile price fluctuations and that stock funds can lose value.

Fixed Income Funds
Fixed income funds invest in debt securities and are generally used to provide a source of income and, to a lesser extent, growth of capital. Fixed income securities include bonds issued by U.S. or foreign companies, governments, agencies, or similar institutions. We offer funds that specialize in various types of bonds, such as corporate, government, and high yield bonds. As with stocks, your portfolio should include a wide variety of bond investments to help reduce risk.
