Manager Bios
Paul Appleby Paul Appleby, CFA, is a managing director and head of the High Yield Sector team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Previously, Paul was director of credit research and chief equity strategist for Prudential Financial's proprietary portfolios. He also was a high yield credit analyst and worked in Prudential Financial's Private Placement Group. Before joining Prudential Financial in 1987, Paul was a strategic planner for Amerada Hess. Paul received a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds the CFA designation and has 18 years of investment experience.

Avi Z. Berg Avi Z. Berg is a managing director and Large Cap Value Equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in January 2001 and began co-managing the Large Cap Value Equity strategy in May 2003. Since 2006, Avi has been an adjunct associate professor of security analysis at Columbia Business School. Prior to joining Jennison, he was with Goldman Sachs Asset Management as an equity research associate for their small- and mid-cap value funds. Avi has also worked in equity research at Fir Tree Partners and was a consultant with Price Waterhouse LLP. He received an A.B. in economics magna cum laude from Harvard University and an M.B.A. in finance and accounting with honors and distinctions from Columbia Business School.

David Bessey David Bessey is a managing director and head of the Emerging Markets Sector team at Prudential Fixed Income Management, investing in emerging market debt denominated in both U.S. dollars and local currencies. David is also senior portfolio manager for all Core Plus Fixed Income strategies and specializes in the sovereign sector for the High Yield team. From 1994 to 1999, he was a senior portfolio manager for emerging market portfolios and U.S. dollar investment-grade assets. Prior to joining Prudential Financial in 1989, David was a project manager on various engineering projects in the United States, Asia, and Latin America. David received a B.S. in geological engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance from the Sloan School at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has 15 years of investment experience.

Blair Boyer Blair Boyer is a managing director and Large Cap Growth/Blend Equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in 1993 after 10 years with Arnhold & S. Bleichroeder, Inc., where he managed international equity portfolios from 1989 to 1993. Prior to Bleichroder, Blair was a research analyst and later a senior portfolio manager in the Verus Capital division at Bleichroder. Blair graduated from Bucknell University with a B.A. in economics and received an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.

Manolita Brasil Manolita Brasil is a vice president and money markets portfolio manager for the Money Markets team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Manolita is responsible for managing taxable money market funds, including the Prudential Institutional Money Market Fund, Inc. In addition, she coordinates credit research for commercial paper and other short-term instruments. Manolita has been managing money market portfolios for PIM-Prudential Fixed Income Management since 1988. She previously managed the money markets support staff. Manolita joined Prudential Financial in 1979. She received a B.S. in management science from Kean College and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickenson University. She has 19 years of investment experience.

Neil P. Brown Neil P. Brown is a principal and equity research analyst at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in November 2005 after working on the North American Oil and Gas Exploration and Production team as an equity research associate/analyst at Deutsche Bank Securities. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Neil worked at Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette as a research associate covering the Exploration and Production sector. He also worked as an analyst in Metropolitan Life Insurance Company's Institutional Finance department. Neil received a B.A. in mathematics and history from Duke University and is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.

Robert T. Browne Robert T. Browne is a vice president and Money Markets portfolio manager for the Money Markets team at Prudential Fixed Income Management, responsible for taxable money market portfolios. Prior to assuming his current position in 1995, Robert spent two years analyzing and trading currency and global bonds as well as handling operations, marketing, compliance, and business planning functions. Robert joined Prudential Financial in 1989. He received a B.A. in economics with an emphasis in accounting from Ursinus College. He has 12 years of investment experience.

Daniel Carlucci Daniel Carlucci, CFA, is a vice president and portfolio advisor for Quantitative Management Associates (QMA). He assists with the management of several quantitative portfolios, specifically large-cap and small-cap portfolios as well as tax-managed portfolios for high-net-worth investors. Prior to his current assignment, Daniel was an investment analyst with QMA's Value Equity team, where he assisted with the management of quantitative large-cap institutional portfolios. He joined Prudential Financial in 1984. Dan holds a B.S. in finance and an M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers University.

David Chan David Chan, CFA, is a managing director and Health Sciences Equity portfolio manager/research analyst at Jennison Associates. David joined Jennison in 1992 from the Boston Consulting Group where he was a team leader and a project consultant for a wide variety of industries, with a special focus on the healthcare area. David has also worked in various positions in the film and television industry. He graduated with a B.A. in biochemistry from Harvard University in 1983 and received an M.B.A. from Columbia University in 1989.

Michael Collins Michael J. Collins, CFA, is a senior investment officer and co-portfolio manager for Core Plus Fixed Income strategies at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Michael formulates credit strategy for these multi-sector portfolios and works with the high yield team on portfolio strategy and construction, a role he has held since 2001.  Previously, he was a senior investment strategist, covering all fixed income sectors. Michael was also a credit research analyst, covering investment grade and high yield corporate credits.  Additionally, he developed proprietary quantitative international interest rate and currency valuation models for Prudential Fixed Income Management's global bond unit.  Michael began his career at Prudential Financial in 1986 as a software applications designer.  He received a B.S. in mathematics and computer science from the State University of New York at Binghamton and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.  Michael holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI). He also serves as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees of the Center for Educational Advancement (CEA), a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing jobs and job training to people with disabilities.

Susan Courtney Susan Courtney is a managing director and head of the Municipal Bond team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. She is responsible for developing, directing, and executing investment strategy for all municipal bond assets, including Prudential Investments' municipal bond mutual funds. Susan joined Prudential Financial in 2005 from GE Asset Management (GE), where she spent 10 years as a municipal bond portfolio manager responsible for $4.7 billion in tax-exempt assets for insurance companies. Prior to her career at GE, she was assistant vice president of the Global Power Group at Fitch Investors Services, Inc. and a senior analyst in the Unit Investment Trust Department of Dean Witter Reynolds. Susan earned a B.A. in economics from Hartwick College and an M.B.A. in finance from Fordham University. She has 19 years of investment experience.

Malcolm Dalrymple Malcolm Dalrymple is a principal and portfolio manager for Structured and Short Maturity Strategies at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Malcom is also a corporate bond portfolio manager for the U.S. Investment-Grade Corporate team. He is also responsible for corporate security selection in core portfolios. He has specialized in corporate bonds since 1990. From 1983 to 1990, Malcom was a money markets portfolio manager. He joined Prudential Financial in 1979 as a securities lending trader and a bank analyst. Malcom received a B.S. in finance from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers University. He has 22 years of investment experience.

Joseph D'Angelo

Joseph D'Angelo is a principal and money markets portfolio manager for the Money Markets team at Prudential Fixed Income Management, in charge of short-term investments for Prudential Financial's proprietary fixed income portfolios as well as mutual fund portfolios. Joseph joined Prudential Financial in 1988, working first in the Management Accounting Group and later in the Treasurer's Group. He moved to the Securities Lending Group in 1994 and assumed investment management responsibilities in 1998. Joseph received a B.A. in economics from Swarthmore College and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University. He has 16 years of investment experience.


Mark G. DeFranco Mark G. DeFranco is a managing director and opportunistic equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. As a member of Jennison’s Opportunistic Equity team, Mark co-manages approximately $3 billion in assets.  As part of his portfolio management responsibilities, he researches many areas, including financial services, specialty chemicals, natural resources, and generalist opportunities. Mark joined Jennison Associates in December 1998 and has over 19 years of experience in the investment industry. Before joining Jennison, he was a precious metals equity analyst and portfolio manager at Pomboy Capital. Mark also spent six years as a research analyst at Comstock Partners, responsible for following value equity securities as well as fixed income investments. Mark was also a member of the equity research sales division of Salomon Brothers. Mark graduated with an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and received a B.A. in economics from Bates College.

Michael Del Balso Michael Del Balso is a managing director, director of research for growth equity, and large Cap Growth equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in 1972 as a research analyst, and has been director of research for growth equity since 1994. He became a portfolio manager in 1999. Michael joined Jennison after four years at White, Weld & Company, where he was a vice president and followed growth companies with emphasis on the consumer area. He is a graduate of Yale University and received an M.B.A. from Columbia University. Michael is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

Ubong Edemeka Ubong "Bobby" Edemeka is a managing director and equity portfolio manager/research analyst at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in March 2002. He was named co-manager of the Prudential Jennison Utility Fund in January 2005 and co-manager of the Prudential Jennison Equity Income Fund in January 2007. Bobby began as an equity analyst at Prudential Investments in the Equity Mutual Funds group in 1997. His responsibilities included coverage of the domestic utilities sector and presenting investment recommendations for the Prudential Jennison Utility Fund. Previously he was with SSB Citi Asset Management group on the Global Utilities team before joining Goldman Sachs as a sell-side analyst. At Goldman, Bobby covered domestic electric utilities and independent power producers. He received a B.A. in government from Harvard University.

Devang Gambhirwala Devang Gambhirwala is a vice president at Quantitative Management Associates. He is a portfolio manager for long-only and long/short quantitative core equity products, and is also responsible for the management of structured products. Previously, Devang held the positions of quantitative research analyst and assistant portfolio manager. He earned a B.S. incomputer and information sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University.

Brian M. Gillott Brian M. Gillott is a managing director and Opportunistic Equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He is a seven-year veteran of Jennison’s Opportunistic Equity team and co-manages approximately $3 billion in assets. As part of his portfolio management responsibilities, Brian researches many areas, including industrials, media, aerospace, basic materials, and various generalist opportunities. He joined Jennison Associates in September 1998 from Soros Fund Management, where he was an equity analyst following a variety of industries for the company’s global hedge fund, seeking both long and short ideas. Prior to Soros Fund, Brian was an analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. in the Private Client Asset Management Group. He received a B.S. with honors from Penn State University, during which time he worked at Trinity Investment Management as a financial analyst.

Stephen Haeckel is a principal and high yield sector manager for the High Yield team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Before assuming this role in 1999, Stephen was a credit analyst. He has also worked in Prudential Financial's Corporate Finance and Financial Restructuring Groups managing Prudential Financial's private investments. Stephen served on the Board of Directors of three private companies in conjunction with the Financial Restructuring Group. Prior to joining Prudential Financial in 1990, he was an investment officer at MONY Capital Management. Stephen received a B.S. in psychology from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He has 17 years of investment experience.

Marc R. Halle Marc R. Halle is a managing director for Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI). He is responsible for all global real estate securities investments. Additionally, he is an executive partner in the Global Merchant Banking Group, responsible for global real estate private equity investments. Marc is also a portfolio manager for the Prudential Global Real Estate Fund. He joined Prudential in 1999 from Alpine Management & Research, LLC, where he was chief operating officer and portfolio manager of the Alpine Realty Income & Growth Fund and co-manager for the Alpine U.S. Real Estate Equity Fund. Prior to forming Alpine, Marc was the senior real estate analyst and associate portfolio manager with Evergreen Asset Management, Inc., where he was jointly responsible for research, investment analysis, and portfolio recommendations for all real estate securities. Previously, he was senior vice president of W&M Properties, Inc., a national real estate investment firm, where he was responsible for acquisitions and finance, as well as supervising property operations and development. Marc received a B.S., magna cum laude, from Tufts University College of Engineering and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Executive M.B.A. Program.

Shaun Hong Shaun Hong, CFA, is a managing director and equity portfolio manager/research analyst at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in September 2000 as a result of the merger of Prudential’s public equity asset management capabilities into Jennison’s organization. Shaun, who was named co-manager of the Prudential Jennison Utility Fund in October 2000 and Prudential Jennison Equity Income Fund in January 2007, joined Prudential in 1999 as an analyst responsible for power, natural gas, and telecommunication industries within Prudential's Public Equity unit. He began his career in 1992 as a research analyst covering telecommunications and technology companies at Parker/Hunter Inc. In 1994, Shaun joined Equinox Capital Management, where he worked for five years researching utility, consumer products, commodities, and technology sectors. He received a B.S. in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and CFA Institute since 1995.

Steven Kellner Steven Kellner, CFA, is a managing director and head of credit-related strategies for Prudential Fixed Income Management, including U.S. investment-grade corporate bonds, high yield, emerging markets, and bank loans for all distribution channels. He is also senior portfolio manager for investment-grade corporate bonds and a portfolio manager for Core Plus strategies. Previously, Steven managed U.S. corporate bonds for Prudential Financial's proprietary fixed income portfolios. He initially joined Prudential Financial in 1986. After completing his M.B.A. in finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, he rejoined the group as a municipal bond analyst. In addition to his M.B.A., Steven received a B.C.E. in civil engineering from Villanova University. He holds the CFA designation and has 19 years of investment experience.

David A. Kiefer David A. Kiefer, CFA, is a managing director and Large Cap Value/Blend equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in September 2000 as a result of the merger of Prudential's public equity asset management capabilities into Jennison's organization. David has been managing large-cap diversified assets since 1999 and the Large Cap Blend Equity strategy since 2000. Additionally, he became head of large cap value equity and began co-managing the Large Cap Value Equity strategy in 2004 and the Natural Resources Equity strategy in 2005. David joined Prudential's management training program in 1986. From 1988 to 1990, he worked at Prudential Power Funding Associates making loans to the utility and power industry. He left to attend business school, rejoining Prudential in equity asset management in 1992. David earned a B.S. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

John Lieb John Leib, CFA, is a vice president and portfolio manager for Quantitative Management Associates (QMA). He joined the Value Equity team of QMA's predecessor in 1987 as a portfolio manager/analyst. Over time, his role has shifted from overseeing the research efforts toward a dedicated focus on the management of the Value Equity accounts. John previously worked with Berg Fiduciary Consultants, a financial consulting firm, where he assisted pension clients in asset allocation modeling, analysis of investment managers, and special projects. John earned a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Hamilton College and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.

Ted Lockwood is a managing director for Quantitative Management Associates. He is responsible for managing portfolios, investment research, and new product development. Previously, Ted was with AT&T and a member of the technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Ted graduated summa cum laude with a B.E. in engineering from Stony Brook University, as well as an M.S. in engineering and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University.

Kathleen A. McCarragher Kathleen A. McCarragher is a managing director, head of growth equity, and Large Cap Growth Equity portfolio manager at Jennision Associates. She joined Jennison as an executive vice president and portfolio manager in May 1998, and was appointed head of growth equity in 2003. Prior to Jennison, Kathleen spent six years with Weiss, Peck & Greer where she was a managing director and the director of large cap growth equities. In addition, she spent 10 years with State Street Research and Management Company, initially as a research analyst responsible for healthcare, transports, and financials, and then as a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee. Kathleen graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin with a B.B.A. and received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Appalachian Mountain Club and the Board of Trustees for the Gateway School.

Stacie L. Mintz Stacie L. Mintz is a principal and portfolio manager for Quantitative Management Associates (QMA). Stacie manages the overall asset allocation for several large pension plans, including Prudential's own pension plan. In addition, she manages several retail balance portfolios and an institutional tax-managed equity fund. Stacie started with Prudential Financial in 1992 as a member of the Comptroller's Group. She joined QMA in 1994 to work with the balanced management business. In 1997, she became a member of QMA's Investment Committee. Stacie earned a B.A. in economics from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University.

John Moschberger, CFA, is a portfolio manager at Quantitative Management Associates. He has managed index portfolios for Prudential's clients since 1986 and has more than 21 years of investment experience.

John P. Mullman John P. Mullman, CFA, is a managing director and Small and Mid-Cap Equity portfolio manager at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in August 2000 as a result of the merger of Prudential’s public equity asset management capabilities into Jennison’s organization. John has been managing institutional small-cap portfolios since 1996. He joined Prudential in 1987 as an associate in the Corporate Finance Group, where he originated a variety of private placement investments, including fixed-rate debt securities, leveraged buyouts, Employee Stock Ownership Plan financings, and asset-backed investments. From 1991 to 1995, John served as a vice president in Prudential's Financial Restructuring Group, where he managed a $500 million portfolio of privately placed debt and equity securities in financially troubled or overleveraged companies. He managed the workouts of over 20 distressed investments through a variety of out-of-court restructurings, bankruptcies, and complex recapitalization. Through his private equity and workout experience, John has served on the Board of Directors of three public and private firms and has worked closely with management in developing and implementing strategic growth plans for several small-cap companies. John received a B.A. in economics from the College of the Holy Cross and an M.B.A. from Yale University. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and CFA Institute.

Richard Piccirillo< Richard Piccirillo is a principal and portfolio manager for the Global Liquidity team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Richard has specialized in mortgage-backed securities since joining Prudential Financial in 1993. He also specializes in structured products and is one of the lead portfolio managers for the multi-sector core fixed income accounts. Before joining Prudential Financial, Richard was a fixed income analyst with Fischer Francis Trees & Watts. He started his career as an analyst at Smith Barney, assisting in overseeing the fixed income trading desks for the Planning and Analysis department. He received a B.B.A. in finance from George Washington University and an M.B.A. in finance and international business from New York University. He has 14 years of investment experience.

Rick J. Romano Rick J. Romano, CFA, is a vice president for Prudential Real Estate Investors (PREI). He is responsible for management of the group's public securities investments and is a portfolio manager for the Prudential Global Real Estate Fund. He joined Prudential in 1998 from Rockefeller & Co., an investment management firm for the Rockefeller family and other high-net-worth clients. There he was an equity analyst for three investment partnerships totaling over $4.0 billion in publicly traded securities. He was responsible for covering real estate and leisure stocks globally, and served as a generalist covering domestic equity securities. Prior to joining Rockefeller & Co., Rick was a senior investment analyst at the Prudential Realty Group, where he worked on the valuation, asset management, and portfolio management of a $1.0 billion equity hotel portfolio. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT). Rick received a B.A. from Rutgers College and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business. In addition, he is a CFA chartholder. 

Jay Saunders John "Jay" Saunders is a managing director and equity research analyst at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison in October 2005 after working for the Global Oil team as a vice president at Deutche Bank Securities, where he covered North American integrated oils, independent refiners, and exploration and production companies. From 1997 to 2000, Jay worked at the Energy Intelligence Group, becoming managing editor for the Oil Market Intelligence newsletter, reporting on a broad range of energy topics. Jay was also with Hart publications, Inc./The Oil Daily Co., where he was an associate editor responsible for oil-related publications. Jay received a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and a masters in print journalism from American University. He was ranked as the number 1 refiners analyst by Zach's Investment Research in 2005.

Spiros Segalas

Spiros "Sig" Segalas is president and chief investment officer of Jennison Associates, and was one its founders in 1969. In addition to managing institutional portfolios, Sig has managed the Harbor Capital Appreciation Fund since May 1990. He is also co-manager of the Prudential Jennison Blend Fund, Inc., the Prudential Jennison Growth Fund, the Prudential Jennison 20/20 Focus Fund and the Prudential Jennison Select Growth Fund.  Sig was recognized as "Manager of the Decade" in 2000 by Mutual Fund magazine.

Sig began his investment career as a research analyst with Bankers Trust Company and was responsible for technology, aerospace, and conglomerate securities. He was appointed head of the Technology Group, and later was asked to manage a newly introduced commingled emerging growth fund, the Supplemental Equity Fund, for the bank's institutional clients. He was appointed to the bank's Investment Policy Group. Sig received a B.A. from Princeton University, after which he was an officer in the U.S. Navy. He also spent some time in the shipping and construction industries before joining Bankers Trust. Sig is a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts.


Betty Sit Tong Betty Sit Tong is a senior investment associate for Quantitative Management Associates. She co-manages the global index portfolios benchmarked against MSCI-developed index series. She is also responsible for trading foreign and domestic equities, foreign exchange, and derivative instruments. In addition to the developed index series, she has experience with funds benchmarked against the MSCI small-cap and emerging market index series. Previously, Betty was employed by Prudential Equity Management Associates. She joined Prudential Financial in 1981. Betty earned a B.A. in psychology from Princeton University.

Margaret Stumpp Margaret Stumpp, Ph.D., is the chief investment officer of Quantitative Management Associates (QMA). She is portfolio manager for enhanced index equity portfolios for institutional investors and mutual fund clients. Margaret is extensively involved in quantitative research in asset allocation, security selection, and portfolio construction for QMA. Margaret joined QMA's predecessor in 1987. She has published articles on finance and economics in numerous publications, including The Financial Analysts Journal, The Journal of Portfolio Management, The Journal of Investment Management and Award Papers in Public Utility Economics. Margaret earned a B.A. cum laude with distinction in economics from Boston University and holds an A.M. and Ph.D. in economics from Brown University.

Jason Swiatek Jason Swiatek, CFA, is a managing director of Jennison Associates, which he joined in August 2000. He was named co-manager of small cap portfolios in September 2005. Prior to Jennison, Jason was with Prudential, which he joined in 1995 as a financial reviewer for the asset management group. He then moved to Prudential's global growth equities team in 1996 before joining the small cap equity team in January 1999. Previously, he worked at Munistat/PFA, Inc. and the Center for Entrepreneurship. He received his B.S. in finance, summa cum laude, from Canisius College in 1995. He is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, Inc. and the CFA Institute.

Robert Tipp Robert Tipp, CFA, is a managing director and Prudential Fixed Income Management's chief investment strategist. He is also head of global liquidity, including the Global Liquidity Sector (U.S. government and foreign government securities, mortgage-backed securities, U.S. agencies, and fixed income derivative products), as well as the Money Market Sector and the Municipal Sector. He is also portfolio manager for Asset-Liability and TIPs strategies, and is co-portfolio manager for the Core Plus strategy. Previously, Robert served as co-head of Prudential Financial's institutional fixed income business. Before joining Prudential Financial in 1991, Robert was a director in the Portfolio Strategies Group at the First Boston Corporation where he developed, marketed, and implemented strategic portfolio products for money managers. Prior to that, Robert was a senior staff analyst at the Allstate Research & Planning Center and managed a number of fixed income and equity derivative strategies at Wells Fargo Investment Advisors. He received a B.S. in business administration with highest honors and an M.B.A. in finance with honors from the University of California, Berkeley. Robert holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has 21 years of investment experience.

Andrew M. Tucker Andrew M. Tucker, CFA, is a managing director at Jennison Associates. He is a portfolio manager, and analyst for the Financial Services Equity portfolio. He is also a portfolio manager of the Prudential Jennison Financial Services Fund, where he analyzes large financial stocks. Andrew joined Jennison in 1997 after five years with the Wachovia Bank of North Carolina, where he was an equity analyst and a portfolio manager responsible for over $450 million in assets in the basic materials and finance sectors. Prior to that, Andrew was a credit officer overseeing a portfolio of corporate loans with over $1 billion in total credit exposure. He began his career as a financial analyst in Wachovia’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Andrew received a B.S. magna cum laude in business administration from Washington and Lee University. He is a former vice president and board member of the North Carolina Society of Financial Analysts and a former member of the Young Life youth ministry organization.

Greg Tuorto Greg Tuorto is a managing director and equity research analyst at Jennison Associates. He joined Jennison  in May 2005. Prior to Jennison, Greg was a portfolio manager and analyst at Guardian Park Avenue Funds, where he co-managed the Small Cap Core Fund, covering technology for small- and mid-cap funds. Prior to that, he was a senior managing analyst at the Dreyfus Corporation, where he was responsible for technology research for all industry groups, focusing his efforts on small- and mid-cap products. Greg was also an analyst and co-portfolio manager covering the technology, healthcare, and industrial sectors at Toqueville Asset Management. Earlier, Greg was a financial analyst at Bankers Trust Company. He received a B.A. in finance from Catholic University and an M.B.A. from Monmouth University.

John Van Belle John Van Belle, Ph.D., is a managing director of Quantitative Management Associates. John manages global, international, emerging markets, and regional equity portfolios. Previously, John was a vice president in Currency Management Consulting Groups at both Bankers Trust and Citibank. He began his career in the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He taught economics and finance at the University of Virginia and Rutgers Graduate School of Management. He has published numerous articles in the fields of economics and finance. John earned a B.S. in economics from St. Joseph's College and holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia.

Terence Wheat Terence Wheat, CFA, is a principal and high yield portfolio manager for the High Yield Sector team at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Prior to assuming his current position in 2005, Terence spent 12 years as a credit analyst in PIM-Prudential Fixed Income Management's Credit Research Group, where he was responsible for the consumer products, gaming and leisure, retail, supermarkets, and textile/apparel industries. Terence covered high yield bonds from 1998 to 2003, and investment-grade issues from 1993 to 1998. Earlier he worked for Prudential's Financial Management Group and Individual Insurance Unit. Terence joined Prudential Financial in 1998. He received a B.S. in accounting and an M.B.A. from Rider University. He holds the CFA designation and has 13 years of investment experience.

Kay Willcox Kay Willcox is a managing director and portfolio manager for Core Fixed Income Strategy at Prudential Fixed Income Management. Kay is also a mortgage-backed securities portfolio manager for the Global Liquidity team. She has specialized in mortgage-backed securities since joining Prudential Financial in 1987. Formerly, Kay managed a segment of the Prudential Insurance Company of America's proprietary portfolio. She also managed mutual fund fixed income portfolios and handled mortgage-backed security analysis and trading. She began her investment career in 1982 in the futures division of Shearson Lehman Brothers. Kay received a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University. She has 23 years of investment experience.

Monica Wong Monica Wong is a vice president and tax-exempt portfolio manager for PIM-Prudential Fixed Income Management's Municipal Bond Team. Monica is primarily responsible for managing short-term municipal bond assets and other municipal bond portfolios. She joined Prudential Financial in 1999 from Montgomery Asset Management, where she was portfolio manager for several tax-exempt money market funds and bond funds, as well as trust accounts and institutional accounts. Prior to that, she was a municipal trader/underwriter at O'Connor & Company and a financial advisor for the Public Resources Advisory Group. Earlier, she was a financial analyst for Merrill Lynch & Company. Monica has 17 years of investment experience.

Deborah Woods Deborah Woods is a vice president and portfolio manager for Quantitative Management Associates' Value Equity team. She also directs fundamental quantitative research analysis for the value equity products. Deborah joined Prudential Financial in 1973 as an industry analyst. She received a B.A. in history from Wellesley College.

Peter Xu Peter Xu, Ph.D., is a managing director at Quantitative Management Associates. He conducts equity market research, the results of which are used in the stock selection process for all quantitative core equity portfolios. He has published articles in various journals, including The Financial Analysts Journal, The Journal of Portfolio Management, Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, and Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies. Previously, Peter taught at the business school at the University of Houston. He earned a B.S. in nuclear physics from Fudan University in Shanghai, an M.A. in economics from Rice University, and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Houston.
